Clarity Project ID Finder

Instantly detect Microsoft Clarity analytics project IDs on any website

Quickly find out if a website is running Microsoft Clarity — and get the project ID in seconds.

Clarity Project ID Finder automatically scans every page you visit for Microsoft Clarity analytics. When Clarity is detected, the extension badge lights up with the number of project IDs found. Click the icon to see the full details, including exactly how each ID was detected.

How it works

The extension uses three detection methods to ensure nothing is missed:

  • Network monitoring — Watches for requests to clarity.ms to catch the project ID as the tag loads
  • Script scanning — Inspects inline and external scripts on the page for Clarity code snippets
  • Dynamic detection — A MutationObserver catches Clarity tags that are injected after page load by tools like Google Tag Manager or consent management platforms
